Kampala Trip

God really blessed and the volunteer team was awesome. Over 400 prayed to receive to Christ and more than 50 were baptized on Sunday, Jan. 28, in Lake Victoria! God is at work in Kampala.
My mission experience with IMFC was truly a Kingdom building experience. I've been on other short-term mission trips where the primary focus of the trip was to meet the needs and desires of the volunteers. That is not the case with IMFC. They have partnered with IMB missionaries to identify real needs of unreached peoples, both spiritual and physical, and then developed creative solutions to meet those needs and reach those people. In working with IMFC, I was a part of a God-appointed team charged with taking the gospel of Christ to East Africa.--Steve Spence, Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Alexandria, Alabama
I was truly overwhelmed by the conditions we saw in Kampala, Uganda. And yet in spite of those conditions, I saw a people that were so very hungry for the word of God and the message of God. Without a doubt the people of Uganda are under spiritual warfare as there are so many different religions there, and the Kampala Christian Church Network and IMFC are working so hard to bring these people to a saving faith in Jesus Christ.
I was honored and blessed to come alongside our brothers and sisters in Christ and to share the gospel with a group of people who would stop everything they were doing to take the time to listen to what we had to say. The field is truly white unto harvest and the laborers are needed. I cannot wait to get another chance to go back and continue the ongoing work in Kampala, Uganda.--

Witch doctors perform their sacrifices very close to the place of baptism. Continue to pray for the people of Kampala that God will guide them out of the darkness into His glorious light.
