Bible Way Ministry
The Bible Way Program has been in use for many years in Africa. It is a low cost set of materials designed to introduce people to Jesus, grow them in their relationship with Him, and ground them in the Word of God.
The eleven-book series covers the basics of the Christian faith and is written in a simple, easily understood form. Each book is divided into twelve lessons. The student reads a three- or four-page lesson and then is given a ten-question test to complete. There is also a memory verse in each lesson, and the student is required to share the verse by memory with a friend.
When the student completes the twelve lessons, he brings or mails the test booklet back to the ministry center to be graded. If the student gets a mark of at least 80% correct, he receives a diploma for his work.
The books used in the Bible Way Program are:
- Who is Jesus?
- The Gospel of Mark - Study 1
- The Gospel of Mark - Study 2
- God's Wonderful Plan
- Principles of Christian Faith
- The Bible Answers Your Questions
- The Ten Commandments
- Prophets
- The Life of Paul
- A Responsible Christian
- Christian Marriage
In 2005, more than 2,000 people enrolled in these studies, more than 350 bibles have been given out, five bible fellowships have started, and over 400 people gave their lives to Jesus Christ.
